Supportive, Caring, Experienced
As a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience, I know that life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming — whether you’re dealing with anxiety, past trauma, relationship struggles, or navigating life transitions. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a deep commitment to supporting your growth and well-being.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can explore your emotions, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and unlock your potential for healing. I am passionate about helping you rediscover trust in yourself, rebuild meaningful relationships, and restore balance in your life.
Throughout my career, I’ve trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic, Attachment therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness-based techniques. This allows me to tailor our work together to your unique needs - whether that’s healing from trauma, navigating complex family dynamics, or managing the pressures of everyday life. My goal is to meet you where you are - emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - and support you as you move toward a place of healing, clarity, and strength.
I completed my graduate training at Smith College and have since had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including Johns Hopkins Psychiatry, trauma recovery centers, school systems, and addiction treatment programs. I also specialize in supporting individuals through perinatal and postpartum challenges, including mood and anxiety concerns, identity shifts, and the emotional complexities of parenthood.
This broad range of experience allows me to approach each client with deep sensitivity to their unique context and needs. I remain committed to ongoing learning, with continued training through organizations such as the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis and Brown University, ensuring I stay connected to the latest research and reflective clinical practices.
