Individual Therapy
Many people come to therapy seeking the comfort and clarity that traditional talk therapy can offer. Much of my work is rooted in this approach. I seek to create space for open, reflective conversation where you can explore what’s happening in your life right now, while also uncovering how past experiences may still be shaping the present.
Through thoughtful dialogue, support, and compassionate feedback, insight begins to emerge. And with insight, often comes relief, a softening of the suffering, and a clearer sense of what’s possible moving forward.
Couples and Family Therapy
Relationships are a vital and central part in our lives. When there is difficulty in relating or communicating it can feel like everything is falling apart. I use many techniques to help people discover how to move forward and make change within relationships. One of the techniques that I have training in is Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). This is a structured, evidence-based approach designed to help couples strengthen their emotional bond and improve communication. Rooted in attachment theory, EFT focuses on identifying negative patterns, healing past wounds, and creating secure, lasting connections. By fostering a deeper understanding of each partner’s emotions and needs, EFT supports couples in building trust, resolving conflict, and reconnecting on a more meaningful level. Whether you're facing ongoing challenges or seeking to deepen intimacy, EFT offers a compassionate and effective path forward.
Trauma Informed Care and EMDR
Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how past experiences, especially those that were overwhelming or painful, can shape how we feel, think, and relate in the present. It offers a safe, supportive space to gently explore those impacts at your own pace. I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a well-researched approach that helps the brain and body process traumatic memories in a new way. EMDR can be especially effective in reducing the emotional intensity of past events, so they no longer feel as overwhelming or stuck in the present.
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
Mindfulness in therapy invites you to slow down, tune into the present moment, and build a more compassionate relationship with your thoughts and emotions. I often integrate practices from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), which combines mindfulness with gentle cognitive techniques to help you manage stress, reduce anxiety, and shift patterns of rumination. This approach can be especially helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in cycles of overthinking. This program offers tools to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.
MBCT is an 8 week class that meets for 1 and 1/2 hours each time.

Therapy is one of the most meaningful investments you can make—in your emotional well-being, your relationships, your clarity, and your capacity to live with greater ease and authenticity. It’s not just about solving problems; it’s about creating space to understand yourself more deeply, to untangle old patterns, and to reconnect with what really matters to you. Like any investment, it takes time and commitment—but the return is real: a stronger sense of self, greater resilience, and a more rooted presence in your life.
